     NEW SPINDLE BODY The 5th generation RX exudes immense confidence. A new ‘spindle body’ design has resulted in improved grille integration that expresses a sense of electrified power and low centre of gravity. Sleeker, more compact headlights, air intakes and a wider track further consolidate the stable, confident look.
    SIGNATURE BLADE LIGHT A stylish new Lexus signature blade light at the rear has a distinctive L-shaped lighting design spanning the entire width of the car, underlining the iconic shape.
    EXCELLENT AERODYNAMICS The RX has excellent aerodynamics, due to a near-flat underbody and extensive wind tunnel testing. To refine airflow even further, Lexus designers and engineers worked on the shape of the lower front spoiler, airflow in the wheel arches, the shape of the car’s sides and the lower rear bumper. The result is even greater vehicle stability, with reduced noise and drag.
    PANORAMIC ROOF Available in combination with roof rails, the impressive glass roof can now be opened to allow more air into the interior. Providing both extra headroom and sunshine in the cabin, it is fitted with an electric sliding blind to counter intense sunlight.

       OMOTENASHI WELCOME / AMBIENT LIGHTING The new Lexus Ambient Lighting feature can tailor the RX’s interior lighting from a palette of 64 colours. Designers have developed fourteen preset hues that express the emotions and feelings felt when witnessing beautiful natural phenomena.

      TAZUNA COCKPIT The Lexus Tazuna design concept takes its name from the Japanese word for ‘reins of a horse’, focusing on direct yet intuitive control. Information sources such as the 14" multimedia screen, multi-information display and Head-Up Display are grouped so their content can be read with minimal eye and head movement. Main switches and controls can also be easily accessed.

      EXTRA LARGE 14” TOUCHSCREEN Perfectly positioned for relaxing interaction while driving, the 14” High Definition touchscreen is one of the largest available and allows access to information such as navigation, audio and climate control.

         ADVANCE VOICE ASSIST Artificial Intelligence and the cloud work together through the sophisticated Lexus Voice Assistant. This understands natural language and the context of statements such as “I’m hungry” or “I’m cold” and can recognise which front passenger is speaking.
        WIRELESS CHARGING Charge compatible smartphones or other electronic devices using the inductive wireless battery charger. 50% faster than before, the RX also has 6 USB sockets well positioned within the cabin for both front and rear seat occupants.
        DISTANCE CONTROL Dynamic Radar Cruise Control detects the vehicle in front and maintains an appropriate distance. It quickly recognises traffic cutting in front and, in conjunction with Lane Trace Assist, follows a more natural line through bends.
