O Aerodynamic design with low drag
O Energy-efficient low-power heat pump
O Heated front seats and steering wheel reduce air conditioning brands
The all-new Toyota C-HR+ has been designed to maximise driving range while maintaining comfort and performance. Its dynamic exterior also delivers impressive aerodynamic efficiency, achieving a class-leading drag coefficient of 0.26.
Built on a 2,750mm wheelbase – 110mm longer than the standard Toyota C-HR – the vehicle features a flat underfloor to reduce turbulence and energy loss. Additional aerodynamic elements include a grille-less front design, air ducts ahead of the wheels, concealed rear door handles and specially designed aerodynamic wheels.
Airflow is further managed by a roof-mounted spoiler, ducktail rear design and fins on the rear bumper, helping improve efficiency at speed.
The C-HR+ also uses technology to reduce energy consumption inside the cabin. A highly efficient heat pump system draws thermal energy from the outside air to warm the cabin while using less power than traditional systems. Heated front seats and a heated steering wheel – standard on all grades – provide additional comfort while reducing reliance on the air conditioning system.
