Wheel Repair Technician – Lexus Swindon
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Wheel Repair Technician to join our team at Fish Brothers Lexus Swindon. In this role, you’ll be responsible for refurbishing and repairing alloy wheels to the highest standards, ensuring our customers’ vehicles look as exceptional as they perform.
Working within our state-of-the-art Diamond Cut Repair (DCR) Alloy Pod, you’ll benefit from a modern, air-conditioned workspace equipped with the latest tools and technology, including wheel straightening and balancing equipment. The pod also features a comfortable reception and break area, Bluetooth audio system, and ample storage — everything you need to take pride in your craft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out high-quality refurbishments to both diamond-cut and standard alloy wheels.
- Complete repairs on both customer vehicles and used-car stock.
- Operate all tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure a flawless finish on every repair, maintaining the Lexus brand’s exceptional standards.
- Communicate effectively with the service and sales teams to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
About You:
- A good level of general education with evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Experience in automotive painting, polishing, or wheel refurbishment.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering outstanding workmanship.
- Confident using a range of tools and repair equipment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Comfortable using IT systems for recording work and managing workflow.
- Full, clean UK driving licence.

This position is offered on a 40 hour week Monday – Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm basis (30 minute unpaid break per day). In return we offer a salary of £28,000 basic plus bonus (OTE £31K) plus benefits including 23-27 days holiday, Birthday Leave, Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Leave, Contributory Pension Scheme and Healthcare Cash Plan.
