Throughout 2024 and 2025, the team at Lexus Swindon proudly dedicated our time, energy and community spirit to supporting an incredible local cause — Julia’s House Children’s Hospice.
From charity car washes in the showroom forecourt to treacherous hikes across rugged countryside, our team braved all elements in aid of a charity that makes a life-changing difference to families across our region. Rain or shine, we came together with one shared goal: to help create magical moments for children and families who need them most.
Over the past two years, our fundraising efforts have taken many forms. We’ve rolled up our sleeves for charity car washes, hosted networking events, organised football tournaments, and even tackled the demanding Horseshoe Ridge Walk. Each event brought together colleagues, customers and community partners, all united by a desire to support Julia’s House and the extraordinary work they do.
Whether it was early starts setting up events, long days on our feet washing cars, or challenging ourselves physically on fundraising hikes, every effort was made with purpose and pride.
Julia’s House is your local children’s hospice, providing specialist care to children with life-limiting and complex conditions and supporting their families, giving them all a chance to have the magical moments and memories every child and family deserves.Their amazing nurses and carers bring clinical care, fun, laughter and compassion to the children they support. They give exhausted parents a much-needed respite break from around-the-clock care, with the peace of mind their child is in safe hands. Childhood is precious and fleeting, especially for those in hospice care. Every moment matters, every memory is treasured — making it so important that the children in their care are able to simply enjoy being children, while their families know they are in a safe place with the very best clinical care, love and attention. The impact Julia’s House has on local families is profound, and we are incredibly proud to have played a part in supporting their mission.
