Highway Driving Pilot: Unlocking conditional Level 3 Autonomy

Utilising some of the most sophisticated Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology, the EV9 takes a significant step towards full autonomy. Kia's new Highway Driving Pilot System (HDP) system equips the EV9 with conditional Level 3 autonomous driving. Fifteen sensors, including two lidars, allows it to scan for and detect objects in a full 360-degree field of view, enabling it to react to the road and other users in milliseconds.
