(1) Electric range
The electric range figure of 388 miles apply to the long-range EV4 Air equipped with the 81.4 kWh battery. Figures are based on latest available data. The range was determined according to the standardised EU measurement procedure (WLTP). The individual driving style and other factors, such as speed, outside temperature, topography and the use of electricity-consuming devices/units, have an influence on the real-life range and can possibly reduce it.

Boot capacities of 435 litres (5-door EV4) and 490 litres (4-door EV4 Fastback) are based on manufacturer measurements and may vary depending on vehicle specification and measurement method.
Kia high voltage lithium-ion battery units in electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehicles (HEV) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) are built to have a long life. These batteries are covered by the Kia warranty for a period of 7 years from initial registration or 100,000 km, whichever comes first. For low voltage batteries (48V and 12V) in mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEV), the Kia warranty covers a period of 2 years from initial registration regardless of mileage. For EVs and PHEVs only, Kia guarantees a 70% capacity of the battery. Capacity reduction of the battery in HEV and MHEV is not covered by the warranty. In order to achieve the maximum charging speed, the EV4 must be charged at an 800-volt electric vehicle charger that delivers at least 240kW of electricity. The additionally added real-life range within 15 minutes is depending on different factors including the current state of charge of the battery, battery temperature and the charger used. It is also defined by the individual driving style and energy consumption.
The purchase and installation of any wall box charging equipment are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Installation must be performed by a qualified professional and in full compliance with all applicable local laws, regulations, and safety standards. Kia assumes no liability for the installation, operation, or maintenance of wall box equipment.
The Kia AI Assistant is available as part of specific subscription packages and typically includes a one-year free trial period. Subscription fees apply thereafter. New vehicles equipped with OTA-enabled navigation software benefit from a free trial period during which Over-the-Air updates for maps and infotainment software are provided at no additional cost. After the trial ends, further OTA updates can be accessed either via https://www.kia.com/uk/owners/ota-controller-updates/ or through a Kia dealership. Availability of OTA updates may vary by model and region.
