A Honda Extended Guarantee is a great way to protect and extend the life of your car. Your Extended Guarantee can start, either: when the 3 year or 90,000 mile manufacturer’s warranty expires, or at any period up to 8 years old. You have the choice of 12, 24 and 36 months’ cover (subject to vehicle eligibility). The longer the cover the more of a saving you will receive.
As a Honda owner you already have the reassurance that you’re driving one of the most reliable cars on the road, but as your vehicle gets older the risk of mechanical or electrical failure can increase.

HONDACARE ASSISTANCE
Our Honda Extended Guarantees include full UK and European Hondacare Assistance for the duration of the plan. This is at no extra cost to you, so we can get you back on the road or home safely as quickly as possible. Connected car customers can now access Hondacare Assistance digitally through the My Honda+ app, by simply subscribing to the Safety and Journey package (T&Cs apply).

You have a choice of how long you want your extended guarantee to last for, knowing that even after one repair, the extended guarantee can pay for itself. HONDA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
If you are unfortunate enough to breakdown at the roadside we can come and get you moving again as quickly as possible.
HONDA RECOVERY ASSISTANCE
If we cannot fix your car at the roadside we can assist you with your onward travel arrangements, either home or to your original destination.
HONDA HOME ASSISTANCE
We can also provide assistance to your doorstep.
HONDA EUROPEAN ASSISTANCE
Your car can even be covered whilst travelling abroad†.
If you breakdown and can’t get a message to relatives or colleagues, we can contact them for you and inform them of your situation.

WHO CARRIES OUT THE REPAIRS?
Any Authorised Honda Retailer can carry out the repair work for you under the Honda guarantee and all work will be carried out by the people who know your car best - Honda Trained Technicians using Honda Genuine Parts.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CAR IS OFF THE ROAD?
Our Honda Extended Guarantee is designed to keep you on the road. If your vehicle is undergoing an authorised repair for more than 8 hours, you can claim up to 5 days’ car hire to a maximum of £40 per day (including VAT) after the first 24 hours.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM AWAY FROM HOME?
If you breakdown away from home and your vehicle is undergoing an authorised repair for more than 24 hours, your Honda Extended Guarantee can minimise any inconvenience by allowing you to claim for one night’s hotel accommodation up to £150 (including VAT).
WHAT HAPPENS IF I BREAKDOWN IN EUROPE?
Your Honda Extended Guarantee can cover your repair bills in most European Countries†; you pay for the repair and reclaim the cost when you return to the UK*.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I SELL MY VEHICLE?
If your vehicle is sold privately, the Honda Extended Guarantee can be transferred so the new owner can enjoy the same benefits for a fee of just £15.
HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY HONDA EXTENDED GUARANTEE?
Just keep your vehicle serviced, by an authorised Honda Retailer, in line with the manufacturer’s recommended service schedule.
