Save up to £250 on excess costs

We’ll give you a complimentary Excess Return voucher for the first 12 months of owning your Renault. This pays up to £250 towards your excess in the event of an accident claim and is designed to help protect your Renault, whoever you decide to insure with.

For example, if you have an excess of £350, and you use your £250 excess voucher, you’ll only have to pay a £100 excess.

How it works

Should you need to claim on your car insurance, simply notify Renault Insurance first on 0330102 8839 and, as well as paying up to £250 towards your excess, we’ll ensure your Renault is repaired at a Renault Approved Bodyshop using only genuine parts. We’ll even help to manage your claim.

MILEAGE REWARD

COMPLIMENTARY FOR AUSTRAL DRIVERS

Mileage Reward gives you money back at the end of your insurance policy if you complete less than 10,000 miles during the year*. There’s no need for a black box or device – by including this product, you allow us to collect this data directly from your connected Austral. It’s our way of rewarding low mileage drivers with money back.

How does Mileage Reward work?

  • You select the complimentary Mileage Reward option and pay your Renault Insurance motor premium as normal (monthly or a lump sum)
  • There’s no need for a black box or device – your connected car will automatically tell us your mileage
  • At the end of the year we’ll refund £25 for each 1,000 miles your recorded mileage is below 10,000 miles
  • The maximum rebate you can receive is 50% of your motor insurance premium
  • There’s no penalty if you exceed 10,000 miles^

For example, if your mileage at the end of the policy year was 3,500 miles:

  • You would get £150 rebate as long as you had paid at least £300 motor insurance premium.
  • If you had paid less than £300 motor insurance premium you would get 50% of it back.

Who can apply?

This product is only available to customers who are either purchasing a new or used Austral model from a Franchise Dealer, or renewing an existing Renault Insurance policy that includes the Mileage Reward product (if still applicable).

How to apply

Qualifying customers will have the option to select or deselect the Mileage Reward product when their insurance quote price is presented online. Alternatively, you can call us on 0330 102 8833.

Calls to 0330 numbers are free if used as part of your inclusive mobile minutes and are charged at local rates from landlines.

1 Free Driveaway Insurance is available to customers purchasing a new or used Renault from a Renault dealer and who are eligible for a quotation for Annual Insurance. Please refer to your insurance certificate for details on the duration of your Driveaway Insurance. Other vehicle makes will receive temporary Get Me Home Cover which expires at 23:59 on the second day.
