The Captur E-Tech hybrid is more fun with less fuel. The ideal technology if you wish to reduce running costs of your car without changing your habits. The petrol engine is coupled with two electric motors and a small battery to help lower fuel consumption and tailpipe emissions.
There is no need for the Captur E-Tech hybrid to be plugged to recharge as the clever system uses recovered energy from braking phases as the main source of power. It will seamlessly swtch between petrola nd electric mode to optimise the driving performance and fuel efficiency.
Captur E-Tech plug-in hybrid is the most efficient, yet most dynamic Captur to date. It uses the same technology as the Captur E-Tech hybrid but has a bigger battery which can be charged. Combining a 1.6l petrol engine with a 9.8kWh battery and two electric motors, it delivers 160hp, 188.3 mpg (WLTP) and up to 30 miles EV only range, allowing for a pure electric drive and even lower running costs.
On longer journeys, Captur E-Tech plug-in hybrid will run using both the ptrol engine and the electric motors, offering an unprecedented flexibility.

Charging is simple:
It will take up to 4h15** at home on mains socket or 3h on a dedicated home wallbox. Alternatively, you can also use one of the 1,000s of public charge points across the UK.
How to choose a wallbox supplier?
To ensure the wallbox you choose is fully compatible with your Renault, we would recommend ensuring the wallbox and installer you use is certified by Renault as Z.E Ready. We will be able to check this for you.
