Introducing the first-ever all-electric Nissan JUKE—an agile, compact crossover that stays true to its bold and distinctive character. Known for its unique design and personality, the JUKE has been reimagined for the electric era, bringing emotion and innovation together in a new EV format. This latest model forms part of Nissan’s wider strategy to provide an electrified option for every type of driver.
Since its debut in 2010, the JUKE has attracted over 1.5 million customers across Europe, redefining the compact crossover segment with its unconventional styling. The new generation continues that legacy, now powered by a fully electric drivetrain, supporting Nissan’s commitment to zero-emission mobility.
The all-electric JUKE joins an expanding European EV line-up, including the latest MICRA, the third-generation LEAF, the Ariya crossover and the Townstar light commercial vehicle. A new A-segment EV is also in development. Both the JUKE EV and the upcoming LEAF will feature Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technology, helping integrate electric vehicles into the wider energy network.
Alongside its growing EV range, Nissan continues to offer its innovative e-POWER hybrid technology. This system delivers a driving experience similar to a fully electric vehicle, without the need for external charging. Models such as the Qashqai e-POWER and JUKE Hybrid remain key options within the range, ensuring customers can choose a solution that best suits their lifestyle today.
Massimiliano Messina, Chairman of Nissan AMIEO, commented:
“Europe plays a vital role in Nissan’s electrification plans, and we are fully committed to an electric future. With a rapidly expanding EV line-up, we are bringing greater choice and innovation to every segment, supported by our strong design, engineering and manufacturing presence across the region. This next generation of vehicles will help accelerate the shift to zero-emission mobility.”
Electrification Driven from Europe
Production of the all-new electric JUKE will take place at Nissan’s Sunderland plant in the UK, further strengthening its importance within Nissan’s global EV strategy. Already home to the LEAF, the facility will begin initial JUKE production trials in the coming weeks, reinforcing its position as a key hub for electrified manufacturing in Europe.
This commitment is supported by Nissan’s wider European network, with design, engineering and development teams based across the UK, Spain and Germany. Together, these operations highlight Nissan’s long-term investment in creating vehicles in Europe, for European drivers.
Clíodhna Lyons, Region Vice President for Product, Brand and Marketing Strategy at Nissan AMIEO, said:
“The JUKE has always been about bold design and challenging expectations. With this third generation, we’re bringing that same spirit into the electric age. As our first fully electric JUKE, it will help us reach new customers while expanding choice across our electrified range.”
The third-generation JUKE was officially unveiled at Nissan’s Vision Event in Japan, where the brand shared its future plans, upcoming models and technological advancements with global media and stakeholders.
The all-new electric JUKE is scheduled to launch in spring 2027, marking the next step in Nissan’s journey towards a fully electric future.
