Dacia has taken a bold step forward in its expansion plans for the UK with the opening of a standalone showroom in Swindon. The purpose-built facility gives Dacia its own dedicated space from which the brand can now better serve a customer base that has seen rapid growth in recent years.

Part of the well-known Fish Brothers Group, who have been serving the people of Swindon since 1948, the new space is conveniently located on Paddington Drive (SN5 7SB), just a few miles from Junction 16 of the M4.

The new showroom is a result of a £1 million investment and features the latest Dacia brand identity, including a number of sustainable design elements. It offers a tailored retail experience that reflects the adventurous spirit that continues to find fans among UK drivers.

The 300m2 space can display the entire Dacia range, including Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Spring, Jogger, Duster and Bigster, plus outside space for 30 Approved Used cars. A comprehensive aftersales service is supported by a fully equipped workshop with 3 servicing ramps.

What’s more, the opening has created three new sales positions, joining a sales team that will now be dedicated to Dacia only.

The interior is stripped back to the essentials, based on the principles of being functional, flexible, eco-friendly and cost effective. It’s designed to be pared back, leaving only those features that are essential to the space and to the customer journey. Materials used for the likes of panels, rugs, flooring, lights and paint are recycled and sustainable, including the stands used for panels around the showroom which are made from recycled tyres.

Andy Reynolds, Director, Fish Brothers Dacia said: “Swindon is already a strong market for Dacia, but with the arrival of the fully electric Spring and the Bigster, this is a brand on the rise and completely in tune with what drivers want today. Giving it its own space reflects not just the growth we’ve seen here in Swindon, but also the potential we know it has.”

Luke Broad, Dacia Brand Director for the UK, commented: “Swindon’s new Dacia showroom is a brilliant showcase of how far the brand has come and where it’s going next. Our standalone showroom is a significant landmark in our history and this dedicated space shows just how serious we are about growing our presence in key areas such as Wiltshire. With a strong partner like Fish Brothers behind us and an award-winning line-up that’s more relevant than ever, Dacia is ready to welcome even more customers to the family.”
