Nissan LEAF offers you two driving modes designed to extend your range and make the most of the all-electric driving experience.​

B MODE: RECOVERY BRAKING ENERGY
Serious about maxing out your range? Activate B Mode. It delivers more regenerative braking, which charges the battery without compromising on driving power. 

ECO MODE
Choose ECO Mode to limit engine output and save energy. It slightly increases regenerative braking to boost your range, too. To get the most mileage out of your Nissan LEAF, use B mode and ECO mode at the same time. 

There are several ways to charge your Nissan LEAF. At home, most owners opt for Type 2 charging. On the go? A wide network of public charging stations also offer Type 2, while an increasing number offer 50kW CHAdeMO capability.

The classic way to charge your Nissan LEAF is by using one of the cables supplied, just plug directly into a standard domestic wall socket wherever you may be. Alternatively, you can charge your LEAF to 100% between 7h to 830h with a professionally installed AC Charger.

If you are looking to charge your Nissan LEAF on the go, plug into a CHAdeMO rapid charger and get from 20% to 80% charge in around 60 minutes, however, charging times may be affected by a number of factors.
