Technician Jack Radley, 19 from Calne has been named Apprentice of the Year by Škoda UK.
Jack started work at Fish Brothers in May 2010 as a Apprentice Technician and quickly showed a flair for the job, it was then decided that he should undertake Škodas Advanced Apprenticeship Programme.
Škoda has a reputation for providing service and training that is second to none and they look to develop, recognise and reward the talents of a broad range of people. Helping them along with their career in the motor trade.
Jack trained on a block release system which allowed him to work in at Fish Brothers to perfect his skills during his days out at the training centre. As Jack performed so well in his training he was awarded the prestigious Apprentice of the year award earning him first place out of some 32 other trainees.
It’s great news for Fish Brothers customers too as they will benefit from Jacks skills and technical ability in maintaining their cars to the highest standards.
Jack has said of his award, ‘I’ve really enjoyed the Škoda training so far and have learnt a lot in a short space of time. It’s been helped by the fact that I can put my skill to use straight away in the workshop so it’s a really interactive and hands on learning approach. I’m looking forward to learning even more on the scheme next year and I’m very pleased to have received this important award.’
Jack is now hoping to win the title for 2012 too so we wish him all the best!
