GS 300

The new direct injection 3-litre V6 engine impresses with its responsiveness and efficiency. At its heart is a technologically advanced direct-injection system that gives excellent performance from a high compression ratio.

A ten-speaker hi-fi system with a six-disc autochanger hi-fi system and steering-wheel mounted controls is fitted as standard. But to make the most of the optimised acoustics of the GS interior, you might want to opt for the GS 300 SE-L which plays host to the specially-developed, 14-speaker Mark Levinson® sound system.

The GS 300 SE and SE-L models feature the DVD-based Lexus Navigator state-of-the-art satellite navigation system that presents clear and up-to-the-minute travel information and directions on a full-colour, seven-inch screen. This feature also includes a Park Assist Monitor to help you negotiate awkward parking spaces.

GS 430

The new GS 430 plays host to a 4.3-litre V8 petrol engine, renowned for its compelling mix of high power and running smoothness. The GS 430 benefits from Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). Electronically controlled shock absorbers give two ride options: normal mode for relaxed everyday driving, or the sports mode for precise and engaging driving.

With the GS 430 there's immense power available, which finds its way to the road courtesy of an exceptionally smooth close-ratio six-speed automatic gearbox. For increased driver involvement, the GS 430 also features a sequential mode that gives full manual control over the gear range with just a quick flick of the lever.

GS 450h

Lexus gives us the world's first high performance hybrid saloon in the shape of the GS 450h. The GS 450h has a 286bhp petrol engine that works in conjunction with a 190bhp electric motor to deliver remarkably refined and responsive performance. What's impressive about this vehicle is that the fuel consumption and emissions are what you would expect from a smaller family saloon. The design of the vehicle aims to engage you visually and physically.

The advanced technology employed in the GS 450h means that the handling, safety and comfort are taken to an entirely new level of sophistication. The Electronic-controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT) provides an almost limitless combination of engine speed to vehicle speed ratios. This means that the combination of petrol engine and electric motor offers constant, stepless acceleration as well as an exceptionally refined drive.
